William T. Coleman, Jr.

An advisor to six presidents, U.S. Secretary of Transportation, a senior partner of O’Melveny & Myers, Coleman was also the first black to clerk for a U.S. Supreme Court Justice. Coleman persuaded the U.S. Supreme Court to abolish legalized segregation in the nation’s public schools, and served as board chair of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund Inc.

Antonia Hernandez

As president and general counsel for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), a Latino civil rights organization, Antonia Hernández has become a highly visible advocate for the nation’s large and growing Latino community.
