About the Role:

The Membership Associate is a project management position within the department of Field and Member Services. This position is unique in that this person will work with our historic coalition of over 220 organizations to develop and strengthen the offerings of the membership program housed in the department of Field & Member Services.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in developing and executing membership engagement strategies as designed by the team.
  • Assist in implementation and management of new membership portal.
  • Assist and participate in membership committee meetings.
  • Work with teams across organization to ensure engagement of membership throughout issue area campaigns.
  • Administrative duties as needed.

What You Will Bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role required.
  • A self-starter and possesses a team mindset;
  • Experience working with high level principals;
  • Excellent customer service skills or related experience;
  • Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders who hold various roles and leadership positions;
  • A demonstrated commitment to civil and human rights.
  • The desire and ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • The ability to manage multiple and complex tasks with an ever-changing workload.
  • Must be organized and have a proactive approach to the work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications.
  • Aptitude to work independently and on teams.
  • Experience utilizing tools and measures for tracking goals and relationship management.

Salary Range – $62,865.00 – $67,383.00

Office Re-opening Statement 

During the Covid-19 pandemic, staff may opt in to work from the office.  Most staff have chosen the option to work remotely.  Through an internal working group and staff input, we are assessing how and when we will return more fully to the office.  We anticipate that staff will return to the office in some capacity later this year.  For now, there is no requirement to work from the office through the end of 2022.
