Civil and Human Rights Coalition Denounces Decision to Bar Haitians From Receiving H2 Visas

WASHINGTON—In response to the Trump administration’s decision to bar Haitians from receiving H2-A and H2-B visas, Seema Nanda, executive vice president and COO of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, issued the following statement:

“After denying Haitians Temporary Protected Status and deriding their country in vulgar terms, President Trump has unveiled a new front in his campaign of cruelty toward Haiti. This is wrong and we denounce his decision.”
