September 25 Is National Voter Registration Day. Get Registered!
On September 25, 2012, tens of thousands of voters will celebrate what should be a nationally observed holiday – National Voter Registration Day – by taking part in a massive effort to register voters in all 50 states.
The theme for National Voter Registration Day is simple: Register in September and make it count in November. And the goal is even simpler: If you don’t vote, you don’t count. And if you don’t register, you cannot vote.
National Voter Registration Day’s impact is driven by you! Join your friends, neighbors and family members and step up to play an important role in communities around the country. Make voter registration a part of everyday conversation.
Major technology companies, retailers, civic engagement and non-profit groups, including the YWCA, Tumblr , the League of Women Voters, U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Univision and more than 700 other national and local organizations are joining in the effort.
