Obama Jobs Bill Picks more than 90 House Cosponsors

In a new strategy, Democratic leaders opened President Obama’s jobs bill to co-sponsors over the last week, and have already received over 90 endorsements from low-chamber Democrats. The strategy was implemented to combat GOP criticism of the jobs bill.

Alabama Immigration Law is Strictest in the World

As sections of Alabama’s immigration law go into effect, immigration and human rights experts say no other developed country has passed a law as strict as Alabama’s immigration policy. Such enforcements include prohibition of courts to enforce any contract with an undocumented immigrant, a provision unseen in any other state or developed country.
