The first official trailer for the film adaptation of the acclaimed “choreopoem”, For Colored Girls who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf has dropped.

The film adaptation of what is probably the most revered work by, for, and about Black American women has been controversial ever since it was announced that Tyler Perry would direct the film, raising issues of who should and shouldn’t direct films by, for and about Black American women.
