“What we have heard from witness after witness is a simple truth – Trump sought to use his office to extort and bribe a foreign government to target a political opponent for his own personal gain. For our Constitution and the rule of law to have any meaning, every member of Congress must take their sworn duty seriously and hold the president accountable. They must send a clear message – no one, not even a president, is above the law.”
