WASHINGTONLena Zwarensteyn, senior director of the fair courts program at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, released the following statement on the Senate’s vote to confirm Dale Ho to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York:

“Dale Ho exemplifies the kinds of judges we need on our courts — eminently qualified, fair-minded, reflective of our communities, and deeply committed to protecting the civil and human rights of all. He dedicated his career to protecting the rights of all people, particularly our freedom to vote, and he possesses the depth and breadth of experiences our federal courts need to move us closer to the promise of delivering equal justice for all. We are heartened to see the Senate finally confirm this outstanding nominee and look forward to Ho’s tenure on the bench.”
