The Leadership Conference Filed an Amicus Brief in Bank of America Corp. v. City of Miami
On October 7, 2016, The Leadership Conference filed a brief urging the Court to uphold the decision of the Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit that the City of Miami has standing and can plead sufficient proximate cause under the FHA for the harms caused by the Petitioner Banks’ widespread discriminatory lending practices that harmed the City’s poorest communities and the City itself.
