On October 28, 2013, The Leadership Conference filed a brief in support of Respondents arguing that disparate impact claims are indeed cognizable under the Fair Housing Act, and that equal housing opportunity would be weakened for all protected classes if this deep-rooted judicial and agency interpretation was disturbed.
