Dear Senator,
The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, a coalition of more than 240 national organizations committed to promoting and protecting the civil and human rights of all persons in the United States, urges you to support the reconfirmation of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Chair Lauren McFerran.
The NLRB is vital to the implementation and enforcement of federal labor law and policy, including safeguarding the rights of workers to organize and bargain collectively. Chair McFerran has decades of experience as a public servant and a deep understanding and commitment to the agency she chairs. She has been confirmed twice before on a bipartisan basis, and if reconfirmed, will continue to uphold and effectuate the rights promised by the National Labor Relations Act while treating all parties fairly.
