WASHINGTON, DC – On Wednesday, August 21st at 12:00 Noon EDT, key organizers of the 50^th Anniversary of the March on Washington will join immigration reform advocates to discuss joint plans and priorities for the event.   

The 50^th Anniversary of the March on Washington is being recognized with a week-long series of events culminating in a rally and march on Saturday, August 24^th.  More information on this week of events is available at http://nationalactionnetwork.net/mow/.

Immigrants, immigration advocates, and members of the Latino and Asian-American communities all play key roles in this event, which will call on Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, a restoration of the Voting Rights Act, and several other key priorities of the civil and human rights movement.
