WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, December 8 at 1:30 p.m. EST, civil rights advocates will host a press call to analyze the Supreme Court oral argument in Evenwel v. Abbott, which will take place that morning.

The case strikes at the heart of our representative government by challenging the long-standing practice of counting every person when drawing electoral districts and is backed by the same forces behind the 2013 case that gutted the Voting Rights Act.
