WASHINGTON – On Thursday, December 10 at 1:00 p.m. ET, civil rights advocates representing African-American, Latino, Jewish and Muslim communities will come together to condemn the rampant scapegoating and bigotry at play in the 2016 presidential election.

The call comes after the membership of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights unanimously adopted a resolution at its annual meeting on December 9 condemning calls from presidential candidates to exclude immigrants and refugees on the basis of religion, establish databases of Muslim-American citizens, or engage in the blanket surveillance of mosques.
