‘We Are Democracy’ Conference to Focus on 2020 and Civil and Human Rights WASHINGTON – The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, will hold a “We Are Democracy” conference on December 5, 2019, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. ET. Key rights leaders, journalists, and legal experts will discuss what is at stake in 2020 for democracy, justice, inclusion, and opportunity.

Conference discussions will include: courageous leadership in these unprecedented times; media, and holding power to account; and civil rights in the era of big tech. In addition, conference officials will conduct a live taping of The Leadership Conference’s podcast, Pod for the Cause.

The event will also be livestreamed on our social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
