WASHINGTON, DC – Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC, The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, and MALDEF (Mexican American Legal Defense And Educational Fund), among others, representing more than 275 organizations and civic leaders, will convene for a press call on March 30, 2020 to announce a new watchdog coalition that pledges to monitor and work to protect the confidentiality of 2020 Census data.

The watchdog group is working to reassure communities that have been historically undercounted that strict laws protect data information. Our message to families unsure about whether or not to take the census: We’ve got your back.
