Judge John Lee’s Confirmation Is an Important Milestone for the Seventh Circuit

WASHINGTON – Lena Zwarensteyn, senior director of the fair courts program at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, released the following statement after the Senate confirmed Judge John Lee to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Today marks a historic milestone, as Judge Lee becomes the first Asian American judge to serve on the Seventh Circuit.
