The Leadership Conference Filed an Amicus Brief in Friedrichs v. California Teachers Association
On November 13, 2015, The Leadership Conference filed a brief urging the Court to affirm the judgment of the lower court and reject Petitioners’ call to overturn the Court’s precedent in Abood. In that brief, we argued that Abood’s Fair Share Rule has yielded critical economic opportunities for all workers and for women, people of color, and LGBT workers in particular, and that Abood should not be overturned in light of these benefits.
