The Leadership Conference Joins an Amicus Brief in Fitisemanu v. United States
On May 27, 2022—The Leadership Conference joins an amicus brief with the American Civil Liberties Union and ten civil rights organizations in Fitisemanu v. United States to repudiate the racial stereotypes and bigotry at the heart of the reasoning for the Insular Cases and, further, overturn the Insular Cases to end continued reliance on them.
