On October 29, 2018, The Leadership Conference joined in an amicus brief in Doe v. Trump, that argues that the constitutional right of equal citizenship guarantees dignity and full participation in public life, that military service has historically been an avenue for obtaining full citizenship, that the Trump administration’s transgender ban is inconsistent with equal citizenship and military readiness.
