The Leadership Conference Joins an Amicus Brief in Masterpiece Cakeshop, Ltd., et al. v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, et al.
On October 30, 2017 the Leadership Conference filed a brief in Masterpiece Cakeshop, Ltd., et al. v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, et al., urging the Court to affirm the Colorado Court of Appeals’ judgment and find that public accommodation laws that prohibit discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, and other protected classes do not violate the First Amendment.
