The Leadership Conference released Vision for Democracy: Fortifying the Franchise in 2020 and Beyond, a policy platform to address urgent voting rights issues — and to offer a vision for a 21st century democracy that represents us all.
Over 150 civil and human rights organizations endorsed the platform, which is designed to educate presidential and other candidates, policymakers, the media, and the public about the state of voting rights leading into 2020 — from the barriers blocking access to voting to opportunities for reform.
