WASHINGTON – Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13 at 9:00 a.m. EST, the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC), Alliance for Justice, The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, Planned Parenthood Action Fund and People For the American Way will anchor a march in protest of the rushed hearing to consider Judge Amy Coney Barrett for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat on the U.S. Supreme Court. The Senate should provide relief to millions devastated by the pandemic, not recklessly press forward with a hearing for a nominee who could strip health care access for millions of people.

The organizations will follow CDC guidelines, including limiting the amount of people gathering, ensuring masks are worn by all, and providing hand sanitizer. There will be banners outlining the American people’s priorities – health care, abortion access, racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, voting – and more key issues.
