Estudillo Will Be an Exceptional Federal Judge

WASHINGTON – Wade Henderson, interim president and CEO of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, released the below statement following the Senate’s vote to confirm Judge David G. Estudillo to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington:

“Judge Estudillo will undoubtedly make an exceptional federal judge. The Western District of Washington will be well served given his extensive judicial experience and his previous work protecting immigrants’ rights. Judge Estudillo, the son of immigrant farmworkers, reflects the incredible diversity of our nation, and we applaud the Senate for confirming him to this important seat.”
